The Initial Read
Each engagement begins with confidential conversations across the leadership team and the people whose work the engagement will touch. David reads what the organization has produced, reconciles it against what the team is saying, and spends working time with the CEO.
By week three, the team has experienced someone who listens before he speaks, has read what they have written, and is asking the questions no one inside the organization has put on the table.
The first deliverable is a written assessment that names what is actually happening — the decisions that have been deferred, the dynamics that exist but have yet to be addressed. Nothing is facilitated until that document is written and read.
From there, the work moves into the decisions the organization has been circling, and continues through the implementation that makes them hold.
Why this approach works
What clients experience
Clients refer and return. Engagements extend.
Clients refer their peer networks because Telescope identifies and resolves what has been blocking progress — within a defined arc, not an open-ended retainer.
Engagements extend at client request because the work produces results that compound — and identifies the real obstacles to effective implementation.
What clients receive is not a one-time output. They gain a discipline to identify what is actually happening, act on it, and sustain the change.
And when the next inflection arrives — a new business unit, a merger or pivot, a market decision that will shape the next decade, a strategic moment that calls for the same caliber of work — they bring David back.
